We love a hot bath! It's even better when you pamper yourself with the addition of soothing, healing and luxurious e.o.
Basic recipe
- 3 drops of your favorite essential oil, added after the water is finished running (so you don't dissipate extra off)
For extra dilution power
- Add the 3 drops to 1 tsp carrier oil before adding to the water
- Add the 3 drops to 1 cup of epsom salt before adding to the water
Here is a classic recipe that is sure to soothe sore muscles. Add oil of your choice for additional actions! For example, use 3 drops of our own Asheville-area Fraser Fir for a wintry delight, that will both decongest your stuffy nose and ease sore muscles!
- 2 cups epsom salt
- 1 cup baking soda
- 3 drops of your favorite essential oil
Consider a classic like Lavender or my favorite Clary Sage for a soothing and uplifting bath. Or go with a blend, such as Sweet River's Relaxing for Health or Serenity.
